  Really not impressed. Last time they fitted a carpet for us (last year) we couldn't shut the door properly afterwards as the carpet was fitted on top of the carpet in the joining room making the finishing strip far too high. This time we had a carpet fitted and the fitter turned up in a pretty bad mood, pulled the carpet up the stairs in such a way that he messed up all the walls we've only just painted. There are big scuds on at least 4 walls (three different colour paints now have to be re-done). We are literally in the process of re plastering and decorating the house, I've spent hours prepping and painting and now I keep noticing chips in the plaster and scrapes on the paint in lots of places, seriously unimpressed. Do not use Carpetright. He could have asked me to help him lift the carpet if that was the problem. I also asked the sales person if we could get away with the smallest amount of carpet possible (as we're on a budget) we made it clear we wanted the off cut to go in the bottom of the wardrobe (any which way) but instead we had a buy a carpet far too big and therefore have lots of useless off cuts at a huge cost to us. This is the last time I will use Carpetright even though we still need more carpets. Upon my complaint at the shop they were polite enough but generally unhelpful. They already have my money so there's not an awful lot more I can do about it. Not at all satisfied with the quality of the service.
