  I can highly recommend the Mixology Group. I attended the Beginners Cocktail course and it was everything I hoped it would be. I looked into a lot of different types of Cocktail 'masterclasses' but most seemed to be a 1/2 hr fun experience where you learn a cocktail or 2 and get drunk. And i'm sure they are all fun but I was looking for something a bit more thorough where I would really learn some cocktail skills. This was definitely the right course for that. Over 6 hours of instruction, with loads of practical chances to get behind the bar. Myles is a brilliant teacher, he knows his stuff and is passionate about cocktails but also makes it funny and has some good stories to tell. His theory behind teaching you the concept behind each drink rather than individual specific recipes is great, you learn the confidence to make the drinks but also then experiment at home. We tasted loads of different spirits and there were more cocktails than we could actually drink - how sad to see some of them go to waste! But Myles didn't clock watch and the drinks flowed, I had to rush off as the course was still going half an hour past the finish time. Thank you Myles
